There's no sun up in the sky'
The hot spell seems to have ended with some very heavy downpours. On the allotments plants we have endlessly watered over the summer months are now taking a real battering. Most of us will be looking over our plots wondering how to sort out the tangled mess of beans and taller plants that will need our help with propping, tying up or removing altogether. Fear not though, where nature wreaks havoc there is always inspiration, we can do what we can to save our fruits and veg for this year, but we can also plan on how we can improve things for next year.
However the state of your plot, enjoy it and the sun will soon be shining again!
