In previous years, Alton Allotment Association have spent time promoting the Association and the benefits of having an allotment. We have done this by setting up stalls in the town, handing out information about applying for an allotment and in conjunction with Alton Town Council, delivered leaflets around the town, hoping to inspire the next generation of allotment gardeners.
This year we haven't been able to be as visible but our committee is still hard at work supporting the rights of plot holders, whether new to the allotment or our longer term plot holders.
